Garmin Nuvi 2350LMT Customer Reviews

Real Feedback Submitted by Real Users!

I decided that it was time to replace my old Garmin Nuvi 350 instead up updating the maps. The map update was close to the purchase price of a new and lower end GPS anyway. This model isn't low end in the traditional sense of the word, but after doing a comparison of this product on the website, I felt like this is the GPS system that I needed to go with.

Pros:

I get lifetime maps and traffic updates

It has the familiar Garmin interface

Cons:

There is no AC adapter, only a car charger

There's no case for the GPS

It's set to avoid U-turns, ferries, and other strange settings.

The car charger requires a GPS cradle in order to charge it up. This means that its something else that I have to remember when I'm traveling. But I like my Garmin GPS overall. By the way, I was able to use my old 350 AC charger for my new model. Maybe you can use your old charger as well.

I bought a Tom Tom 1505 When my Garmin765 was stolen. Although I tried to like the Tom Tom, I just didn't. I ended up turning it back in, and getting my money back. I then went about bought the Garmin 2350LMT because I needed a good GPS for my 5k trip. I'm glad that I bought it; it came through for me just like I needed it to. The pois are useful, and the system found the addresses that I needed it to. It also recalculated my missed turns as well. The battery life is a lot better as well; the old one was only about five minutes. The Tom Tom had a better interface, but the Garmin finds the addresses and the poi's better.

The only thing is that the suction cup didn't work so well. No matter what I did, the suction wouldn't stick. I had to use the suctions from my old 765, and those worked out well. I must say that I'm happy with the Garmin 2350LMT. I was able to avoid the adverts by using my USB power cable from my cell phone, instead of using the traffic antenna.

We went with this unit to replace our older Magellan model. Based on reviews, we went with Garmin. We are so glad that we did. It got us through Washington DC and back home. There were some minor glitches with the roads around our hotel, but wasn't that big of a deal. The system re-routed us well. We love the voice varieties. We are giving this a hearty recommendation.
