This is one of the most magnificent GPS systems that I have ever seen! The design is awesome. I was happy with my old Nuvi 755t, but when I saw the 3790lmt, I had to make it mine! I like it better than just about all of the new phones. Why doesn't Garmin put an Android on it, I don't know. This should be turned into a smartphone. It has changed from previous models but I have come to love the new model updates. While the voice recognition isn't perfect, I still like it better than some of the other models that have been out there. I haven't noticed any other problems or issues so far. This one is faster, compared to my previous model. Before I made my final decision, I compared this to other manufacturers. This doesn't even begin to compare, because it's much better. This is a game-changer for sure! This is probably going to be copied, but nothing is going to live up to the real thing!

Being from New York, I'm and admitted directions snob. But then I moved to Atlanta, home of the Peachtree streets! I had to start carrying around road maps. Then, I bought the Garmin nuvi 3790LMT GPS Navigator because it can navigate roads and re-configure routes fast. While there are other GPS systems that can do the job, nobody does it like the 3790LMT. It's also lightweight and thin, which I like. I don't have to worry about breakage if this hits the floor.

This model gives me lifetime traffic and map updates! This goes together flawlessly with my iphone. The voice commands understands me well. The set up was super easy to the point of being intuitive. It only took minutes for me to connect this to my MacBook so that I could download the most up to date versions of North American maps.

This works with any mode of land transportation. You can save on your fuel as well. While there are GPS models that are more upscale and techie, this is the one if you are like me.

I was a little iffy about this at first, because I had read good and bad reviews. But this GPS has a lovely screen. This is very similar to the other Garmins that I have used. But there have been recent updates that have improved for better user experience. The screen is made bigger, and sharper too. It also responds better to touch. I like that I can simply download a log of my travels to my computer. This is really handy when I have to turn in a mileage report. My only complaint is that the satellite reception takes a little too long when it first starts up in the morning.
