I bought this because my wife's model was stolen. I used to have the 340s model and that's the one that I gave
to her, and I bought myself a new one. I don't see too much of a difference between the two. I will say that I get
lifetime traffic with this model, and I didn't get that with the old model.
I didn't think at first that things would be so easy with the GPS because the traffic was fluid. But I stand
corrected! You'll get an estimate of the tiem time that you'll spend in traffic for your routes and it will update
your ETA on its own. It will also give you a re-routing option as well.
The VIA nails it down for me to the 10th of mile every single time that I hit traffic. It even spends the exact
amount of time in traffic that it says it will. I was in total shock.
I'm super happy with this. The lifetime traffic is for metro area dwellers like me.
I had an older GPS, and I didn't know if this could live up. But this does for sure. I love the screen size and
its got good visuals as well. The screen pops up for exits off of the intersection, which can be a lifesaver. I
like the voice that comes with it. This is like OnStar. I really love the speed limit corner that comes with this.
It will let you know when you are going too fast. Gotta love it! I especially love that it's not falling off my
window all of the time too.
This is my very first GPS. Here's what I've got to say so far:
It's easy to use.
I read what I need to, and ignore the rest of the directions on the manual.
The font could be a bit larger. I find it a bit too small.
It takes a moment to find your position, but it will find it.
I'm able to find where I'm going when I am lost
I find that it keeps me out of the wrong lanes when I'm driving
While the voice is easy to understand, you don't get many options to change the voice. But I will say that I've
had great experiences for this device.
