I had an older Nuvi 650 at one point and it cost around 150% more than this mode. That was about three years ago, and I decided that it was time to upgrade to something a bit more modern. This newer model, compared to the Nuvi and more expensive Nuvi's have quite a few more features. These include traffic trends, My trends, bluetooth, and even junction view. I never had a use for the more advanced features, and the 1350 certainly fits that bill. In addition to that the unit has lifetime map updates which certainly helps you out along the way.
